The reports from last week were true; B.o.B‘s debut album The Adventures Of Bobby Ray lands on top of the charts at the #1 spot. The response from the album has been mixed but mostly positive. And even though The Adventures Of Bobby Ray was a little too pop for my liking, I can’t help from feeling happy for Bobby Ray (Especially remembering the struggle he had trying to get this album released). I’m always happy when a Hip-Hop album is #1. Check out H20’s great review of the album here.
Shout out to Daddy Yankee. He released his 9th album last entitled Daddy Yankee Mundial (Translation: Daddy Yankee Worldwide) last week. I respect Yankee’s hustle, but I didn’t know his album was coming out and I haven’t heard once piece of music from it. Proves what I know, Daddy Yankee Mundial sales over 18,000 copies and grabs #29 on the charts. Here’s the music video for “Grito Mundial”, the album’s first single.
