Last year, when I saw a video of Michelle Trachtenberg rapping Nicki Minaj’s verse from “Shakin’ It 4 Daddy”, I knew that wasn’t the end of it. But seeing these videos of Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez both showing love to the Harajuku Barbie proves a few things:
1. Hip-Hop is really REALLY accessible.
2. We shouldn’t be that surprised that Pink Friday is outselling My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.
3. It’s a good chance that “Super Bass” will be the next single.
