Where as on the last song Common gave out inspiration, “Sweet” is the complete opposite with him calling out “sweet ass motherfuckers” and telling dudes to stop singing like Frank Sinatra. That’s all good and stuff but I would feel like shit if a conscious rapper like Common called me soft. But I like “Sweet” because it makes me feel like The Dreamer, The Believer may have a little edge. No I.D. is on the beat again as he is handling all the production on Com’s upcoming album. A music video for “Sweet” is already on the way.
