The Numbers Game: Wiz Khalifa Is #2

Since Britney Spears also released a new album last week, I knew before hand that Wiz Khalifa‘s major label debut getting the #1 spot was a long shot. But he still has something to celebrate; Rolling Papers came in at #2 and sold roughly 198,000 copies. That’s not bad, but I feel if Atlantic released the album closer to the “Black And Yellow” craze, the album may have done a little better (Speaking of Atlantic, they’re doing pretty good right? B.o.B, Lupe, and now Wiz). Check out DuB’s review of Rolling Papers here.

Snoop Dogg also hit the charts last week. His 11th solo album, Doggumentary, ranked at #8 on the charts and moves 50,000 units. Yea, that sounds about right. Read King Jerm’s review of Doggumentary here.

E-40 is back on his two album hustle as last week not only did he release  Revenue Retrievin’: Graveyard Shift but Revenue Retrievin’: Overtime Shift as well. Graveyard Shift lands at #40 with Overtime Shift right behind it at #42. Say what you will about 40, but both albums selling 13,000 copies is pretty good (Plus each album has like 20 tracks). And yea, sorry we didn’t review either album, but read this.
