For while now, when Mariah Carey comes out with a new album she’ll lead off with song that features the hottest rappers at the time. And even when she doesn’t do that she’ll throw them on a remix. It must be a Mariah album in the works because she premieres her new song/video “Triumphant (Get ‘Em)” featuring two of the hottest rappers out right now, Rick Ross & Meek Mill (DJ Khaled makes a brief cameo in the song and video for some reason too).
With production from frequent collaborator Jermaine Dupri, the song as well as the video (I dig the boxing motif) are pretty much what we expect from Mariah (Who recently became a judge on American Idol like everyone else seems to doing these days). Look for a new Mariah Carey album in early 2013. Music video directed by Nick Cannon (of course).
