WWE Royal Rumble 2014 Results: Batista Wins

RR

On the last episode of The FRO Horsemen (Which you can listen to right here) I think we had it in our minds that Daniel Bryan would win the the Royal Rumble. To get more specific, we thought that he would lose his match with Bray Wyatt (Which he actually did) and then win the Royal Rumble. That seemed to be the best situation.

I guess you could say we’re idiots because why would WWE bring back Batista and not let him win the Royal Rumble. By the way, Batista won the Royal Rumble and Daniel Bryan didn’t even get a spot in the Rumble. Kevin Nash got a spot. Corporate Kane got a spot. JBL got a spot. Alexander Rusev got a spot. Even El Torito got a spot. Yeah, whatever. The crowded hated this too but I guess all this won’t matter if Daniel Bryan vs. Undertaker happens at Wrestlemania.

Other things that happened in the Royal Rumble:

  • CM Punk lasted a long ass time only to be eliminated by an already eliminated Kane (You get what I’m saying)
  • Since Alexander Rusev was in the Rumble this year and Bo Dallas was in last year’s, are we getting a NXT rookie in the Royal Rumble every year?
  • As expected, Roman Reigns showed out and got 12 eliminations (Including the other members of The Shield)
  • I’m not really sure how Cody Rhodes got eliminated, but I’m sure it feels like he’ll blame Goldust.
  • At this point, I feel like the only reason that Los Matadores still have a job was so El Torito could be in the Rumble.
  • Sheamus returned and to a lesser extent, Dolph Ziggler returned from his latest concussion.
  • #30 was Rey Mysterio and it felt like a let down.

The rest of the card below.
