Welcome folks to the 3rd installment of 2Pac’s Unreleased & Original. It was really hard including what song to put and what to keep on this version. On the 4th installment I’ll have some more rare stuff for you guys to kick back and jam to.
Anyhow the “Basket Case (Sho Shot 96)” and “Where U Been” featuring Danny Boy are unreleased songs but I can only find the snippets of these. “The Where U Been” is a phone rip but that beat is hard. I can’t wait until they leak out the full version of these songs so I can go ahead and post it on the site! I been dying to hear the whole version of these songs. “Where U Been” is produced by Johnny J and they sampled The Jackson 5. At first I thought that was R. Kelly singing on the hook. I remember Pac wanted to work with R Kelly.. Instead it is Danny Boy. I wonder how did this man get all this time to record this stuff in such a short time. Pure Genius!
One song I put as a bonus track is that Madonna song which I didn’t like but I put it on there since a lot of people never heard it. Johnny J produced most of these beats, I still don’t understand why when some of these songs actually got dropped on (Until The End Of Time, Better Dayz, Still I Rise & so forth) why Afeni had to let people fuck up this man work. The originals are so much better and you can feel the emotion better. “Baby Don’t Cry” was produced by 2Pac. A lot of people didn’t know Pac produced as well. Also he produced the “Black Jesus” track and he got live musicians to play on it as well. I like that song a lot and the bassline. Its funky and just my type of stuff overall. Also “Killuminati” is way more funkier and better than the Still I Rise version. Please Afeni or anybody out there reading this please release the next songs in original form! Some of these tracks was before its time.

Oh yeah the new 2Pac album is suppose to have all unreleased never before heard songs so hopefully “Where U Been”, “Watch Ya Mouth” and so forth is on that album since they are going to release the songs the way it was made just like they did with Snoop Dogg’s Lost Sessions and Dr. Dre’s Chronic Re Lit. I’m dying to hear the songs I haven’t heard from Pac because I thought I heard it all. Every other month or so a new song pop up. RIP Pac! RIP Johnny J! RIP Kadafi and Stretch.
