Is it okay if we talk about Taylor Swift‘s “Bad Blood”? Am I the only one that didn’t expect Kendrick Lamar to drop two verses on a Taylor Swift song? Then again, we all should have seen this coming: Taylor Swift dropped a Instagram rapping “Backseat Freestyle” a while back, and then Kendrick gave props to Taylor’s “Shake It Off” during a radio interview; this was bound to happen eventually. Also, Kendrick was the only guy in all of the character posters that came out before the music video dropped (Shout out to Welven Da Great).
About the music video? Yeah, it’s one of those things where you don’t have to like it to appreciate it (Who says big budget music videos are dead?). The “Bad Blood” visuals mixes Tarantino influences, explosions, Tron, rocket launchers, Sin City, models, swords, and everything else in between. It’s worth a watch.
