While we’ve showed Rapsody support in the past by posting up her previous mixtapes, I personally haven’t heard much material from her to merit entry into my iTunes. Not to say she’s not talented; she is and that’s why I keep checking for her. That being said, that all changed when I heard “Believe Me” a month or so back.
Now the Kenneth Price directed black & white music video for “Believe Me” has been released and it matches the straight forwardness of Rapsody’s rhymes as well as the 9th Wonder production. The North Carolina MC’s debut album, The Idea Of Beautiful, drops on August 28 with guest appearances from Mac Miller, Phonte, Raekwon, Ab-Soul, Raheem Devaughn and production from 9th Wonder & Khrysis.
