Lauryn Hill

1. Lauryn Hill
It is hard for me to put into words how incredibly talented, and somehow still vastly underrated Ms. Hill is. Everyone knows that she has put out one of the best albums in Hip-Hop of all times with The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill. One of my favorite albums is her unplugged album however. Still, when we talk about Tupac, Biggie, Jay, Nas, and even Wayne, we don’t mention her. I feel that this is a huge failure on our parts. Lauryn Hill is one of the best artists our culture has ever had. We should embrace her and all of female Hip-Hop.
