Redbox Challenge: Tomb Raider [Review]

Story-Tomb-Raider

Story: I’ll say what I can without ruining the game for you. I didn’t feel any real attachment to any of the characters like in the Call of Duty series in campaign mode. They really do come off as auxiliary characters and don’t seem too integral to Laura’s journey. To be even more honest, they seem more like she’s the babysitter for them and they’re never helpful to Laura move along to complete the game. That does make it easier to power though the game seeing as how you don’t have to concern yourself with protecting someone so the focus for me is more on what she discovers and not the welfare of the characters. For example, there are relics you find and info plays out from the characters perspective…but because they weren’t involved, I never listened to or read those excerpts. I just collected them, and skipped the info they revealed. Outside of that though, the way things played out and the story itself was decent. Also understand, as I stated, I wasn’t focused on achievements or any other accomplishments, I just wanted to finish the game.
