No disrespect to Elijah Wood, but he always gave me a serial killer vibe. So it made sense to me that he plays a serial killer in Maniac. And damn is it brutal. The camera doesn’t pan when he’s cutting a victim’s scalp off (And some of these shots are POV). Mommy issues & mannequins makes this a great American horror slasher film.
