Drake – Nothing Was The Same

Since Drake got his deal, nothing has been the same in the game. He’s pretty much owned the industry, airwaves, and is the face of Hip-Hop. Talib said Drake is the most important rapper of 2013 and that the Canadian MC is making “honest hit records”. The purists will argue about the definition of “Rap/Hip-Hop” and if he’s making Hip-Hop music or not. What’s not debatable is that his music and this album, pretty much ran 2013. It’s sales numbers reminded us of someone named Weezy that used to eerily, have the same impact. Nothing Was The Same is only his 3rd studio album and across the board, it’s been touted as his best.
