Eminem has shown growth over the years with his musical content as well as his very public personal life. He patched things up with friend Royce da 5’9″ a few years back to make some dope music and now he’s even reached out to his mother for a reconciliation. This reunion comes in the form of “Headlights” from last year’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2. The video for said song will be dropping this Mother’s Day.
The most exciting news is that the legendary Spike Lee will be sitting in the director’s chair for this one. In the video below we see Em and Spike talking about the filmmaker’s impressive visual catalogue and what’s to come with this collaboration. This will be the first music related video Lee has directed since Michael Jackson’s “This Is It” single from 2009. I am extremely curious to see how this all turns out.
