I’m a big Hip-Hop head and Chris Rock is my favorite comedian. Of course a movie that is influenced by Hip-Hop and is directed and stars Chris Rock is gonna be high on this list. To me Top Five is the first movie that Chris Rock stars in that’s actually really good. It’s also the closest thing we’ll get to a Black ensemble that rivals the one in Boomerang. It’s like a movie Woody Allen would make if he liked Hip-Hop and was Black. And for all of these reasons, Top Five sits at #2.
