John Cena
John Cena is the most polarizing figure in WWE history. And in the 2012 RAW Money in the Bank ladder match, John Cena added another accolade to his list of accomplishments, and also came one step closer to regaining the WWE Championship that he hadn’t held for almost a year, when he won the Money in the Bank ladder match.
John Cena would choose the honorable route much like RVD would do to John Cena six years before, and gave the WWE Champion CM Punk a weeks’ notice of his cash-in, announcing that he would cash-in his contract at RAW’s 1000th episode.
John Cena would go on to be the first Superstar to not come out with gold around their waist after cashing in the Money in the Bank contract, when the Big Show interfered in the match attacking John Cena leading to CM Punk retaining the WWE Championship.
Since then the WWE has almost stripped this historic loss from their record books with it rarely being mentioned.
