Sometimes I surprise myself when I unexpectedly like something. Like, “Damn Easy, you really like this shit huh?”. But it happens. And that’s the situation with my love for Nino Breeze‘s song “Fuck It Up” and to a greater point, the accompanying music video.
The background here is that the Florida rapper got arrested months back and was connected to 230 pounds of weed and $187,000 in straight cash (Among other things like a Rolex worth $150,000). Being the opportunist, Breeze then went on the make a music video for “Fuck It Up” that plays off the arrest and even samples the local TV news footage.
To be totally honest, the music video isn’t anything we haven’t seen before. It contains Nino Breeze rapping about selling drugs while throwing money, then posing with said money all the while being surrounded by curvy women. But here’s the thing, it’s done really well. To the point that if another rapper ever wants to make this genre of rap video, he needs to carefully study Nino’s “Fuck It Up”.
While I watched the “Fuck It Up” music video for the 20th time, I start to notice that Nino Breeze isn’t that bad of a rapper. I mean, I’ve heard definitely heard worse but his flow ain’t bad at all. In a few weeks I’m pretty sure I’ll be on to the next weird thing that I’ll surprisingly like, but for now, I fucks with this.
