3. The Hulk
Its been two years since we last saw The Hulk in Avengers: Age of Ultron, since then The Hulk has undergone a major transformation. At the beginning of Ragnarok we find The Hulk on the planet of Sakaar living the life of the people’s champ finally respected and not feared. He’s grown to love his newfound fame even refusing to turn back into Bruce Banner.
Marvel took big risks with The Hulk that could have not been well received by fans, but just like most of the Marvel properties they entrusted their characters to talented filmmakers. This allowed them the creative freedom just within the first act of this film alone to progress The Hulk past being an action set piece developing the character far more than the previous four films The Hulk has appeared in combined.
