After weeks off, the comedy institute created by Lorne Michaels returned to its weekly home on TV. The cast logged into Skype Zoom and performed like they never have before, at home. Overall, it was very comforting for me, a longtime fan of Saturday Night Live.
I couldn’t help but notice that Bowen Yang and Cecily Strong did not appear in any of the skits. I hope to see them soon. Both are hilarious and always add something to every scene they are apart of; also Cecily is an underrated asset of the show. Alec Baldwin and Larry David made appearances to give us an update on the politics of today while Tom Hanks “hosted” and Chris Martin was the musical guest. (Coldplay’s Tiny Desk concert last month was phenomenal by the way.) Stay Safe and Enjoy!
