4/20? Curren$y? NPR?
Yeah, it all makes sense and is perfect timing. Making his Tiny Desk debut, home edition, on the unofficial national holiday for Mary Jane, Curren$y runs through classic joints in front of a classic Impala in the three-wheel motion in a garage with a rolling tray, desk, his hypeman burning in his hand throughout his 16-minute performance, and a three-piece band. His tour DJ, Kelly Green had the day off during the time of filming, unfortunately.
I thought about how Spitta has been unlikely quiet so far this year; only releasing Continuance with Alchemist. Then I remembered his tweet saying that he was going to take a break before coming back and delivering his project with Jermaine Dupri and then the Hit-Boy collab. Enjoy the day and just enjoy this life. J.E.T Life!
