With the NBA season reaching the halfway mark, King Jerm break down who he thinks is the best players in the league.
5. Gilbert Arenas
This man is a straight hooper, not only is he a good player, but he is excellent in the clutch. The 3 pointer he hit as time expired was amazing. To think that this guy was skipped by so many teams is a shocker.
4. LeBron James
The Chosen One has a tremendous upside, but I don’t see a championship in his future in Cleveland. It would be a nice story since Cleveland is synonymous with losing. He may be the best all-around offensive player, but Bron-Bron is going to have to work on the jumper.
3. Carmelo Anthony
Melo has the smoothest game out of the bunch, he’s a proven winner, but I still question his “killer instinct.” Does Melo have what it takes to take his team to the next level? I still love to see him play.
2. Dwayne Wade
Check the NBA Finals from 2006 and see why he is #2 on my list. This man was unstoppable last year. Makes you wonder can he keep that level up for awhile. D-Wade is a baller.
1. Kobe Bryant
Kobe is a killer. This man has more bodies than Ted Bundy. Kobe is not only a great scorer, but he is hell on defense too. I think when it is all said and done, we will be mentioning him in the same breath as that guy that played in Chicago.
“The Second Coming”
Oh yea, lets not forget the new Nike commercial, “The Second Coming”. We know you all seen it, Juelz Santana and Just Blaze provide the soundtrack while LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Jermaine O’Neal, Rasheed Wallace, & Steve Nash (just to name a few) hoop it up in an airplane hanger. It reminds me of the old Nike commercial with another group of ballers (I think Eddie Jones was in that group) and had KRS-One reading a famous poem (The Revolution will be televised!). It’s a good look for Juelz on this being that he can probably reach a bigger audience. On another version of the commercial (the behind the scenes version) it even has Cam’ron on it. This team would be awesome, but where’s the big men/centers? Well, anyway, enjoy the commercial (it’s still weird to see LeBron AND Kobe together though).
