Why is everyone pushing for Barack Obama to run for President?

Why is everyone pushing for Barack Obama to run for President? I was wondering this same thing as I was watching television the other day. I really like the idea of having him as President, but I think he is too young to throw his hat in the race. I mean, he just got into the Senate a couple of years ago, and he doesn’t have the political experience to be President, just yet. I just don’t think America is ready to have a Black President. There are too many old people in this country that still vote, and aren’t ready for that. While I say this, I don’t think that they are ready for a woman neither. In Obama’s case, a lot of people are behind him and that’s a good thing, but do you think he is ready for the mudslinging that a Presidential race brings up? You notice he has come out and told the media about his cocaine and marijuana use, but when you are trying to be President, they bring up dirt that you thought no one knew about. But who else do we have to look for? There are no clear cut candidates that come to mind, so I think that the next election will bring change. The democrats don’t need their two strongest candidates splitting the votes. The republicans don’t have a favorite in their camp, so who should they turn to. I hope that the republicans realize that there is life after Bush. They just have a lot of cleaning up to do. I really feel sorry for the next person in office, because they have a mess on their hands. With the growing problems in Iraq, the deficit, and the country becoming divided, I just don’t want to see someone get put in a position where they really can’t do anything but clean up someone else’s mess.
