This week’s charts are basically the same as last week as we see albums from Eminem & Drake hold on to the top spot. Em is still going with Recovery selling 300,000+ in his second week (Damn!). No notable Hip-Hop/Rap debuts in this edition but we do have two from R&B artists.
The-Dream‘s new (and maybe final) album Love King moves over 50,000 albums at the register and grabs the #4 spot on the charts. I’m not a huge fan of The-Dream but I got a chance ti listen to the Love King and there are a few songs that I liked. I think it’s more for the ladies though.
Dwele also released his album last week. W.ants W.orld W.omen grabs the #28 spot and sells 13,000+. I also got a chance to listen to this album and it had it goods point but overall didn’t really grab me like Dwele’s past works; he still a talented artist.
Next week we’ll see how new albums from Big Boi & Juvenile on the charts. Reportedly, Big Boi’s Sir Luscious Left Foot: Son Of Chico Dusty is on pace for 55,000+.
