I checked out Danny Brown’s album The Hybrid way before P from the D reviewed it, but I’d be lying if I said that review didn’t make me go back and re-listen. Now I regret how I much I initially slept on it.
As for the video? “Guitar Solo” is a good choice sense Danny easily paints a the visual that should give any director enough material to make a good music video (Then again, he does that on most of the songs off The Hybrid). In all, the video for “Guitar Solo” is well done and matches Danny Brown’s gritty style. Directed by Tony ‘Storymode’ Foster.
Sidenote: Back in the day, I had a Chicago Bulls Starter jacket just like the one Danny has on in this video. Matter of fact, it may still be a my Ma’s house right now...
