The Numbers Game: Mayer Hawthorne & Murs

You’d think that since I’m a big fan of Mayer Hawthorne, I’d know that his new album How Do You Do actually came out 2 weeks ago. Well, I didn’t. But to be fair, that release was only digital and last week’s was the physical release of the album. Either way, Mayer sold around 7,000 album to add to his two week tally. As far as how How Do You Do sounds, if you liked A Strange Arrangement you’ll like it.

Last week Murs released Love & Rockets, Volume 1: The Transformation (Some say it’s his 4th solo album, but look at this & you tell me). It’s his first album since hooking up with Dame Dash’s BluRoc Records and it makes the Top 200. I’m still gonna review this album (It’ll hopefully be up tomorrow) but until then, you can check out our interview with Murs here.
