Groundhog Day is easily one of my top 5 favorite movies of all time (Here’s some proof), so seeing it recut as a horror movie easily warrants a post. Plus, I’ve cut a few trailers in my day, so there’s that too.
Bonus: There’s an article over at Neatorama that details why Bill Murray is forced to live the same day over and over again in Groundhog Day. What? Do you know how many theories I’ve discussed or how much time I’ve spent thinking about this shit? Last year we finally got the answer on how long he lived the same day over and over again (A whopping 12,403 repeated days), but now I finally know the reason why (Hint: It has something to with an ex-girlfriend casting a curse).
