Future leads the new pack on the charts this week as Pluto actually makes it in the Top 10 and lands at #8. I say actually because I reviewed the album and gave it a 1.5 out of 5 so it’s safe to say I wasn’t that impressed (Some of the nappyafro comment section had other ideas). Either way, I’m happy for the kid; 41,000 albums sold isn’t bad when you really think about it. Look for a big drop next week though.
SWV returned to the charts this week with I Missed Us; their first album since they broke up in 1997 (Damn I feel old). I have no urge to listen to SWV in 2012 but their new album sold 14,800 copies and grabbed the #25 spot. Now Saule Wright actually wants hear SWV’s music again, and his taste in music is usually better than mine so you may wanna that his advice first.
Yes, Snoop Dogg did release an EP last week. And yes, it wasn’t promoted that well. The Stoner’s EP was more like an compilation/EP as some of the songs on the project weren’t even necessarily Snoop’s. It’s was also kinda so-so too. The Stoner’s EP is at #167 this week and sells 2,500 units.
