No Release Date: Artists Who Are Taking Too Long To Drop An Album

Azealia Banks/Iggy Azalea
Both women had major buzz in 2012, but there was no product released in stores. The year started high for the Australian rapper with a magazine cover and a spot on the list of rappers with the most potential for success in 2012. Music was released this year from her through an EP/mixtape and television appearances were made. Unfortunately, Iggy lost her big co-sign for her album.

Her career this year mirrored the same as the rapper that dissed XXL’s decision to choose her for the Freshmen list. While Azealia Banks released both an EP and a mixtape, most of the attention this year was focused on her latest beefs (I’m not listing ALL  those people.) Hopefully, Iggy’s The New Classic and Azealia’s Broke with Expensive Taste will see the light of day this year. Also, maybe this year, B.E.T will finally nominate them for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist.
