At first when I was listening to this album I was disappointed but the more I kept listening to it the more I started to like it. It has substance and some of the beats aren’t bad. Do I think Born Sinner will outsell Yeezus album? Hell to the naw but it is a good effort and nothing like his debut. His debut was much better. I expected more from J. Cole and more soulful tracks but that’s not what we got here. On the song “Land Of Snakes” he sampled Outkast & Slick Rick “The Art Of Storytelling” which is a decent effort but nowhere near as heartfelt as the original by the southern titans.
