A$AP Rocky

A$Ap Rocky seemed like the dude that was in the crowd with me that somehow got on stage. He told the audience he was here for fun and he proved himself. As his band played the music for “1 Train”, he delivered his opening verse and stood to the side to watch Joey Bada$$ perform his verse for the second time that night. As the track finished, he thanked Joey and proclaimed him, “the future” (Does that mean A$AP Rocky is the present?). Humble as ever, Rocky revealed that he couldn’t sing that well, but decided to do it anyway for the show as he launched into the title track for his debut album, “Long Live A$AP”, “Angels”, “PMW”, “Wild For The Night”, followed after before A$AP Ferg emerged from the back to perform his hit single, “Work” (The barking dogs in the beginning of this song really set it off). Trinidad James returned to the stage for the “Work (Remix)” and Rocky returned the spotlight back to himself after making it purple and another attempt to sing. The audience was treated to “Purple Swag” and “Purple Kisses” before he left from behind the microphone stand and did “Goldie”, “Kissing Pink”, “Hands On The Wheel”, and show closer, “Problems”. While he didn’t leave the stage, he did thank the audience for coming out and allowed A$AP Ferg to get the last word in as he performed his newest single, “Shabba” (I still don’t like this song, but it does prove my point that everything sounds better in the club or performed live).
