The lone notable Hip-Hop/R&B debut this week belongs to Toni Braxton & Babyface and their collaborative album Love, Marriage & Divorce. I won’t front and act like I’ll check for this album but it’s cool to see these two get a high ranking on the charts. Respect. Love, Marriage & Divorce lands at #4 and sells 67,000 units.
Other than that I guess it’s worth pointing out that Bruno Mars still has two albums rising on the charts even though both have been out for over a year (Unorthodox Jukebox has been out for 61 weeks & Doo-Wops & Hooligans has been out for 172 weeks). Both are Double Platinum too. Headlining the Super Bowl halftime has it’s privileges.
