2015 could be called the year that prestige was finally brought back to the United States Championship all thanks to one man, John Cena. Since John Cena won the US Title at WrestleMania each week on Monday Night Raw Cena would help bring back the prestige of the US Title putting on phenomenal Matches with his United States Open Challenge. John Cena being able to help the US title mean something once again after years of the Title being booked badly. It’s obvious he’d be able to do so with the Intercontinental Championship.
Cena and Owens have shown that they have great chemistry with one another both in the ring and on the mic, their contrast in characters make for a great combination. John Cena just challenging for the Intercontinental Championship would be great way of making the Title mean something again. And the story of John Cena accomplishing everything in the WWE apart from being the Intercontinental Champion would be a perfect way for Owens and Cena to both feud once again and pick up where they left off from earlier this year.
