10 time Grammy Award winner Adele has a chance of another trophy living on the mantle of her London flat. Last week, the 2016 BET Awards nominations were released. Joining Beyonce, K. Michelle, and Rihanna are new comer Andra Day and Adele in her first nomination for “Best Female Pop/R&B Artist”. Speaking for myself, I’m happy to see her nominated for this award. Adele is an artist that is talented with R&B vocals, but because of her success (You know I mean white skin) she’s never mentioned when they talk about the best contemporary R&B Singers.
I chose her song “When We Were Young” because I actually prefer it more than “Hello” from her 2015 “make-up” album, 25. Dedicated to those missing their younger years and shout-out to all the graduates that will soon experience first hand the feelings of this song. Happy Sunday!
