Short-T’s Favorite R&B Albums of 2018… So Far

Chloe x Halle – The Kids Are Alright
Release Date: March 23, 2018

“WE’RE SAVED! R&B music can live again”, but seriously, these two young ladies are TALENTED AF. I wonder how many people that bought tickets for the On The Run II tour expecting Beyonce and Jay-Z are leaving the show as new fans of the sisters. Chloe, 20, the main producer and keyboardist and Halle, 18, guitarist are both masterful singers, but I’m pretty sure every day for the month of April, I played “Happy Without Me” and looked forward to hearing Halle’s vocals after Joey Bada$$’s verse. I’ve played this album weekly over the course of at least 2 months, all 18 songs, no skips. For anyone complaining about how much they miss the 90’s and how bad R&B is today, even after you share this list, look them in the eyes and say “We good, luv, enjoy”.
