Kanye West has been in the news a lot lately whether it’s buying a house across the street from his estranged wife, getting spotted with his new actress girlfriend, and other random Ye shit. I guess his latest feature, Off The Game‘s “Eazy”, is the culmination of all this.
All that aside, I like the song. It feels like an extension of what Kanye did with “Life of the Party”; Yeezy just rapping about his current life (This is the song with the lines “God saved me from that crash/just so I can beat Pete Davidson’s ass.”). The Game’s verse is actually the better of the two. All this over “Paul Revere” and “Eazy Duz It” samples. Produced by Kanye West, Big Duke, Mike Dean, & Hit-Boy (Was that DJ Premier scratching?). This is off The Game and Hit-Boy’s upcoming album. Life was never.
