
Drake drops the visuals for his hit song “Nokia,” and it’s very… Drake (which is not a bad thing). Shot in crisp black-and-white IMAX by his go-to director, Theo Skudra, the video features some cool and epic shots. From energetic Carnival dancers to a detailed model of Toronto, massive groups of dancers with Drizzy posted in the middle, and even a cameo from Canadian NBA star (and probably MVP) Shai Gilgeous-Alexander — there’s a lot to take in with this one (This video may also be a take on Kendrick Lamar’s recent Super Bowl Halftime show but I’ll let y’all decide that…)
“Nokia” is a standout track from Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR’s joint album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, which dropped last month. Despite some recent challenges, Drake delivers, and the “Nokia” video is proof that the rumors of Drizzy’s downfall are highly exaggerated. Check out the video below.
