Funkfast Flex said it was gonna happen and here we have the start of the much anticipated Dipset reunion. “Have My Money” has Cam’ron, Jim Jones, & Juelz Santana (Freekey Zekey doesn’t make an appearance) all connect back over Vinny Idol production. The song is okay but I would have rather heard The Diplomats over a sped up soul sample like this or this.
“Have My Money” is supposed to lead to a comeback tour and mixtape hosted by Flx, DJ Khaled, Swizz Beatz, & DJ Mustard (?). I’ll believe it when I see it; We all remember “Salute” from 2010.
Sidenote #1: I was just talking to GQ-Blu about Cam’ron being trash in the last few years. Prove me wrong Killa!
Sidenote #2: I thought when it was Jimmy, Cam, Juelz, & Freekey, it was The Diplomats and everybody else like Hell Rell or J.R. Writer was Dipset. Am I wrong?
