The Almighty Queen, Janelle Monae has returned with her new album, Dirty Computer. The visuals have been stunning and thought-provoking conversation starters about women, artistry, and sexuality and the interviews (Hot 97, Breakfast Club, Angie Martinez, Rolling Stone) have been fuego. Now along with the 14 track release (I still can’t believe she’s on Bad Boy) comes a representation of inspiration from Princes’s Purple Rain and Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker. The sci-fi love story of Janelle fighting to remain different and save her love, played by Tessa Thompson, is the visual selected for this Friday’s ‘Fro presentation.
