This is gonna be a quick Numbers Game seeing as I don’t really know much about the debuts this week (I’m also lazy):
- Michigan rapper Prozak, who’s signed the Tech N9ne’s Strange Music, drops his 3rd album entitled Paranormal. Never heard any of his music but 4,500 isn’t bad for an indie.
- I’ve heard some good things about the band Death Grips but I have yet to get a chance to listen to much of their music (I guess you could label them experimental Hip-Hop). Their debut album Money Store sold 3,200 units last weeks.
- I’m sure I’ve heard the name Mickey Avalon before and if I can remember correctly he’s like a rapping Pauly Shore (Didn’t he release an album with MySpace or something?). His sophomore album LOADED sold 3,100 copies last week.
I am currently listening to Jack White‘s new album Blunderbuss. I mention this because it’s the #1 album in the country.
We’ll see the numbers for B.o.B‘s Strange Clouds next week. I haven’t read anything yet but I’m thinking it’s got an okay chance of grabbing the #1 spot.
