FROCAST: Episode #48

Man, I don’t even know how to wrap this one up in a nice neat little package. Let’s just say that someone shits on New York, we celebrate the return of The Carter (no thanks to the trending topic you muh’fuckas), and we get some great questions from the nation. It’s a wild episode and GQ Blu returns to represent #TeamYoungNigga. Once again it’s on, episode #48 is on deck.

This weeks HOHN is “System 2” by Dwayne Chess

  1. Another good and funny episode of the frocast. Good week for the NFL. Great to see the real refs are back in the NFL. Even though some bad calls were made, but it’s great to see them back. WTF was that reporter/interviewer thinking about asking Kobe about the Lakers being his team or Dwight’s team? Also, how could it ever be Dwight’s team when he just joined the Lakers about a month ago/two and he never was the man when he was with the Orlando Magic? That’s fucked up about when King Jerm was talking about his 2nd worst sports injury. Funny, but fucked up. That’s crazy about the Brooklyn Nets jerseys. We’ll see how this coming NBA season will turn out for them. Wait a damn minute, Soulja Boy is gonna be on the next season of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta? WTF? I did watch the debate, and to be honest, parts of it was okay and parts of it was just bad. Romney was just telling the best lies he came up with, Obama seemed clueless about some of the issues that were talked about, both of them kept trying to out talk each other and the host of the debate, etc. And I’m just gonna leave at that. Glad to see The Carter (B-Easy) is back on Nappy afro. Wait a minute again, Bow Wow is now the host of 106 and Park? Even though I don’t watch the show, but WHAT? Where is the money coming from if he’s not putting out albums, movies, making guest appearances, etc? And what makes it more fucked up for him from what I just read today is when Birdman was asked about Bow Wow’s reported income, his response was “What that gotta do with me?” Then, he was reminded by the reporters that Bow Wow was signed to YMCMB. WTF was that girl was thinking of hiding crack inside her/in her crack? Saule, that’s a fucked up story about you getting that haircut and starting work the next day. DAMN! LOL @ Nigga look like Michael after the Pepsi commercial. Funny, but still fucked up. The song for the HOHN is a Hell Naw. I was feeling the song for a second, but after that, I was lost. On the next frocast, are y’all gonna talk about the fights that happened at the taping of the BET Hip Hop awards such as Rick Ross’s entourage Vs Young Jeezy’s entourage and 50 Cent/G-Unit Vs Gunplay from MMG?

    1. Yeah, we kinda wanted to wait until the show actually aired before we talked about it. Thanks for checking in (as usual)!

    2. yo, when Jerm said the MJ line, funny as fuck. A funny joke is funny. Yeah, Bow is allegedly one of the hosts. They seem to be doing a by committee thing and my only concern is that I don’t know that the young cats they signed now can do an actual interview with say a Denzel when he comes out or whatever. I’m sure they’ll get coached up but the first eps I saw, they were WAY young and just didn’t seem to have that maturity. It only matters through because movies and shows are promoted on there as well so you do have the occasional Denzel stop by. Should be interesting. What they gonna do when Bow has to interview Soulja Boy or Omarion or something? lol

  2. Funny ass episode, especially the sports injuries part and the worst haircut part. Totally forgot about the “save the Carter” project. Also hearing Jerm talk shit about New York and South Carolina was a great piece too. But I’m from New York and currently reside in South Carolina so fuck you nigga. Ain’t shit personal, just a matter of principles. Keep doing what y’all do.

  3. Wow. Saule Wright calling out B-Easy to come back to the Frocast. Whatever works to get back to original form. I like the format: Sports, News, Music, Advice, and Hit or Hell Naw. Y’all do spend an hour on sports and then 5 minutes on music.

  4. Saule story had me in tears, I didnt mean to bring up bad memories by asking that question. That down for the cause line is my line not Sinister, I need to get that trademarked. Smh at Bow Wow.

  5. Hey what was that song that y’all played at the very end of the frocast? I couldn’t quite make it out, sounded like tracy chapman or something.
