Yes, I know what you’re thinking, “Why is this on the list?”. Hear me out. Justin Beiber is one of the most known artists in the world right now. If it was up to his record label, he would be doing the same type of music for the next ten years. Fortunately, the young Canadian decided to go in a different direction and use a sound that he has been growing up with for most of his short life.

The “urban sound” or Hip-Hop features and production made this album easier to digest than his previous works. Drake, Nicki Minaj, and obviously, Big Sean on his latest hit single, “As Long As You Love Me”, provided verses that actually provide more to the song than just phoning in features because of popularity. And for record, you know a song is a hit when you hear it on a Hip-Hop station, in the strip club, and while on the dance floor in a nightclub all in the same night. Everybody sing it now, “If I was your boyfriend…”
