The Game
I am still shocked that it took me a minute to remember about the other famous rapper from Compton with the Dr. Dre co-sign. He started off the year with the feature heavy mixtape, California Republic and continued to release new music months later with the album Jesus Piece, received critical acclaim and spawned a radio hit with, “Celebration”. The Sunday Service series had great songs released weekly and he was seen on TV weekly with his reality show, Marrying The Game. His beefs with 40 Glocc and Shyne also kept him in the news and on Worldstar. Eventful year, but still it was forgettable as we are here in March of 2013 reminiscing as if The Game has not done anything in years. We need to drink more “Holy Water”.
