Not one to believe in the superstitious sophomore jinx A Tribe Called Quest went back into the studio to record their second album The Low End Theory.
“Excursions” is the starting point of the classic The Low End Theory that paved the way for the rest of the album to flourish.
Whenever that running baseline starts and Q-Tip’s vocals pitter-patter over the top of it true hip-hop fans collectively lose their minds.
