Sequel albums are always tricky and sometimes can build up too expectation to met the standards of the first edition. This did not seem to bother Kid Cudi with him adding extra pressure to the sophomore slump theory by following up the successful Man on the Moon: The End of Day with Man on the Moon 2: The Legend of Mr. Rager.

Cudi started the album off trippy and ended it the same way, by which point you know you’ve been through an epic journey.
