In 2012 Killer Mike and El-P collectively did a hit and run on Hip-Hop fans by making the classic album R.A.P. Music. We never saw it coming and once it struck they were already gone.
Killer Mike wasted no time dictating to listeners where this album was going with the opening track “Big Beast” with help from Bun B, Trouble, and TIP.
On this track (and for the whole album) Killer Mike channeled the spirit of a young O’Shea by spitting lyrics that would make your parents rally at any PTA meeting.
