5 Things I Learned From WWE NXT Arrival

BoNev

This Show Will Be The Gift And The Curse…

The Gift: The ability to see these professionals weekly, watch them develop their characters and spots, will be fun…at times (see the curse section below). It’s going to make stars of these talents overnight. No matter how many of  you smarks know everything about the roster, there is still a good portion of the world that have no idea who they are (I’m sure we’ll get the numbers on that on RAW). So seeing someone like Zane or Adrian Neville for the first time will make folks light up their search bars and message boards championing the next movement. I mean, it’s always cooler when you can say “I was always a supporter.” Ultimately, that’s going to help some of the wrestlers finally make that move to the main roster. Then…

Not-Gonna-Make-It

The Curse: …WWE STILL wants folks to watch NXT so some of these talents, no matter how good, will now be stuck on NXT. It’s a lot easier to have them headline on NXT and keep interest than to bring them up and do nothing with them, further muddying up a crowded low and midcard tier of talent. On that same note, some of these characters are already boring. I’ll refrain from calling them out but it’s pretty clear that the already lackluster crowd in Orlando is somehow even less interested in certain stars.

And how will any of this shit transition to the main roster? We’ll discuss that on the FRO Horsemen next time….

Did you watch? What  did you learn?
