The Numbers Game: Common Is #6

Common

I wouldn’t say it’s a slow week for Hip-Hop in terms of album sales, but Common is the sole notable entree from the Hip-Hop genre this week. With Nobody’s Smiling, Common’s 10th album comes in at the sixth position on the album charts with 24,400 in sales. I’m not sure if this is Common Sense’s highest debut on the charts (It’s definitely not his most in sales), but it’s his highest since I’ve been doing this column. Check out our album review of Common’s Nobody’s Smiling here.
