Creed, Dope, & Straight Outta Compton are some of the reasons why I enjoyed going to movie theaters this year. All three films featured Black men coming of age and overcoming the ills of their environment and becoming the versions of themselves that they aspired to be in the face of adversity.
Oh well, none of those movies got nominated for a Golden Globe, so, making his grand return, B-Easy and I discuss the films that did get nominated and the TV shows we love and hope win everything.
