Remember back in 2009 when Lil’ Wayne made a song dedicated to and named after Kobe Bryant? Weezy has always been a dedicated Laker fan, so it made sense. It’s even more fitting today since the Black Mamba himself has called it quits on his NBA career and played his final game last night.
I’m not gonna go to deep on this, like saying how Kobe should probably be in everybody’s “Top 10 NBA Players of All Time” list. He kinda answered that question when he dropped 60 points on his way out. Respect to Kobe for always doing work. It’s been a cool 20 years.
