Y’all need to check out this new T-Pain album Oblivion. I knew I wanted to post a song from the hook king of the late aughts in honor of the great interviews he has been doing lately (Desus & Mero, The Breakfast Club, and Everyday Struggle) and to salute the hits he has made to score my high school and college years. Last night, I listened to his fifth album, his first one in 5 years and enjoyed a lot of tracklist. I could’ve easily picked the Tiffany Evans featured “Textin’ My Ex” or the album opener, “Who Died”, but I think the self-confident break-up record, “She Needed Me” is the best of my favorite trio.
